ABAMA Hotel
Golf and Spa Resort
The Abama, 5 star deluxe hotel (now operated and managed by the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company LLC) located on its own large private estate and surrounded by banana plantations.
The setting is stunning on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and La Gomera, there is a gorgeous large and secluded sandy cove perfect for sandcastles, paddling and swimming and peaceful, too, as watersports are not allowed.
The leisure facilites at the Abama are outstanding and service levels excellent. Rooms offer flexibility with interconnecting, junior suites (open plan), 1 and 2 bedroom suites. Choose between the main building or, our favourites, the garden villa rooms which are quieter and open straight out into gardens (ground floor not suitable for toddlers/some children as pool maybe nearby) and come with complimentary golf buggies.
In our opinion the Abama is the best hotel in the Canaries.
