In one of the best and most beautiful locations in Cancun this all inclusive Club Med resort is perfect for so many sports yet close to explore some of the ancient Mexican sites such as Tulum and Chichen Itza.
Bordered by the ocean on 3 sides - warm year round with the water varying from 23 - 30 degrees - and a lagoon in the heart of the resort, there is something for everyone!
Interconnecting rooms can be guarateed for families.
The resort is open year round. It is coolest in Jan-Feb with temperatures typically 23 degrees, rarely dropping below 20 degrees. The official hurrican season is May - October although Sept - October are the most likely months.
Club Med, a French company, has changed so much in the last few years;there has been millions of pounds on investments in the clubs themselves, they are mostly in the best locations and of course being French you can be sure the food is superb.
We recommend these for active families who don’t mind that British guests can be in the minority especially outside of our school holidays. Certain clubs guarantee English speaking staff and have a higher proportion of British guests, please ask us for details.

Children's Club at the Cancun Yucatan
4-10 years 6 days a week, 9am-5.30pm and 7.30-9pm. Designated secure area with its own pool, paddling pool and play equipment. Split into smaller groups according to age. Children can choose each day between different sports, games, creative etc.
Sports activites include: windsurfing, snorkelling, tennis, sailing, football, circus skills. Children have to be a certain age to participate in some of these.

Almost all activities can be arranged for children with children's club, adults only sessions or as a family activiity.

'baby corners' where equipment to prepare meals such as mixers, microwaves as well as jars of sweet and savoury baby food are provided. Highchairs and boaster seats available.
'Baby restaurant' opens 6-7.30pm where parents can enjoy freshly cooked meals with their young children.
Beaches near the Cancun Yucatan
2 expansive, sandy beaches, one is sheltered and gently shelving, no watersports, perfect for young families and the second is windier and perfect for watersports. There is also a rocky area with small sandy bays for access to snorkelling on reef.
