Crèche Details at Daios Cove
The Daois Cove crèche will cost €30 per session for children aged 4 months up to 2 years (or €45 for 2 sessions in one day). Sessions run 10am-1pm and 3pm-6pm.
The Daois Cove crèche will cost just €22 per session for children aged 2 and 3 years (or €35 for 2 sessions in one day) Sessions run 10am-1pm and 3pm-6pm.
Ratios of child carers to children in the crèche is 1:3 for children 4 months up to 2 years old, and 1:4 for children aged 2 and 3 years.
Children's Club at the Daios Cove
The Daois Cove Kids Club is a complimentary service for children aged 4 and up, with age appropriate activities on offer. Ratio of child carers to children is 1:8. Again open 10am-1pm and 3pm until 6pm (except Sundays).
Baby Sitting at the Daios Cove
Babysitting is possible on request, but subject to staff availability. Charged are €10 per hour for one child, €14 per hour for 2 children and €15 per hour for 3 children. This is payable directly to the babysitter.
If there are requests for babysitting for more than 3 children, then 2 babysitters will be necessary. One babysitter is not permitted to care for children occupying more than 1 room, suite or villa.
Meals at the Daios Cove
Daios Cove has 3 restaurants all of which have a children’s menu. The waterside Greek Taverna serves local specialities and fresh fish. For chic modern cuisine, with a fun fresh fusion, the Ocean restaurant is a popular choice. Lastly, Pangea serves a variety of international cuisine with theme nights.
The pool bar serves food and drinks from 10am - 6pm and the beach bar, from 10am - 7pm.
Beaches near the Daios Cove
The hotel is situated on a sandy private beach with a funicular or golf buggy transport if required.
Surrounding Area near the Daios Cove
Ten minutes by car away is the town of Aghios Nikolaos which has a variety of restaurants and bars, the hotel has cars that will take you in luxury for 12 Euros. The town of Elounda is also easily accessible as well as day trips by boat to the old leper colony on the island of Spinalonga.
Flight Time / Nearest Airport to the Daios Cove
Flight time to Heraklion, 4 hours. Transfer time, 50 minutes hour.
