La Plantation de L`albion is located in one of the last remote creeks on the Island of Mauritius and is a flagship 5 trident resort for Club Med.
Choose between luxurious rooms in the Planation area (266) or exclusive private villa (2-4 bedrooms) with private pool, garden and butler service. Breakfast and afternoon tea is served in villa.
Club Med, a French company, has changed so much in the last few years; there has been millions of pounds on investments in the clubs themselves, they are mostly in the best locations and of course being French you can be sure the food is superb.
We recommend these for active families who don’t mind that British guests can be in the minority especially outside of our school holidays. Certain clubs guarantee English speaking staff and have a higher proportion of British guests, please ask us for details.

Crèche Details at La Plantation d`Albion
Petit Club: 2-3 years open 6 days a week, 9am-5.30pm and 7.30pm-9pm (singing and stories whilst parents dine in peace). Lunch also available. NEW for 2011. Cost £210 per child per week.
Children's Club at the La Plantation d`Albion
4-10 years 6 days a week, 9am-5.30pm and 7.30-9pm. Designated secure area with its own pool, paddling pool and play equipment. Split into smaller groups according to age. Children can choose each day between different sports, games, creative etc.
Sports activites include: windsurfing, snorkelling, tennis, sailing, football, circus skills. Children have to be a certain age to participate in some of these.
Teenagers Activities at the La Plantation d`Albion
Own dedicated room, split into 2 age groups: 11-13 and 14-17 years. Amazing range of activities: dance, theatre, jewellery making, skating, sailing, waterskiing, windsurfing volleyball, internet access etc.
Excurions/picnics can be organised
Evenings film nights, discos etc are organised.

Almost all activities can be arranged for children with children's club, adults only sessions or as a family activiity.
Meals at the La Plantation d`Albion
'Baby corner' in amin restaurant where equipment to prepare meals such as mixers, microwaves as well as jars of sweet and savoury baby food are provided. Highchairs and boaster seats available.
'Baby restaurant' opens 6-7.30pm where parents can enjoy freshly cooked meals with their young children.
Beaches near the La Plantation d`Albion
In a beautifully natural, wooded setting, two beaches protected by a coral reef.
● A white coral sand beach, 350 yards from the centre of the Resort, with gently sloping access to the water. Easily accessible via a little footbridge over the Belle Eau River. Defined swimming area.
Equipped with deck chairs and parasols.
● The second beach, immediately accessible from the Resort, is also a fine, natural, white coral sand beach. The first yards of access to the water are sand and rocks.
